Flower essences are wise archetypal informants and windows unto the Soul. Creating an essence with the utmost integrity begins well before we see the floral show. With the intention to support healthy and verdant development, organic seeds and soil are tended to with care and reverence. It can take years to cultivate plants that capture the vibrancy of their inherent healing abilities and even longer to respectfully gather flowers at the exact time of their fullest expression. Illuminantly expressed wildflowers and pristine garden blossoms undergo a gentle process in spring water; a harmonious, alchemical infusion with the sun, the four elements and flowers. All plant matter is removed, leaving behind the vibrational imprinting of the etheric energy pattern and the healing archetype of the flower. In treatment, flower essences are carefully selected to address and support presenting issues, lived experience, and a wide array of information that comes through during the healing session. A client typically works with their custom remedy daily for 3-4 weeks, documenting new awareness, dreams, shifts and growth occurring over time.

It has been my privilege to have taken two advanced practitioner courses with Patricia Kaminski & Richard Katz, esteemed pioneers in the world of flower essence therapy and creators of the Flower Essence Society (FES). FES is an international membership organization dedicated to furthering the profession through empirical research, case studies, plant studies, and documentation by health practitioners, researchers, students, and others interested in the efficacy of flower essences in treatment of all kinds. With 4 decades devoted to the advancement of flower essence therapy, Patricia and Richard have documented hundreds of floral allies with specificity and written numerous articles and books, including Flower Essence Repertory, a mainstay reference of over 140 North American flower essences and their archetypal healing qualities. They have conducted trainings, seminars and certification programs at Terra Flora, their 27 acre biodynamic, demeter certified garden in Nevada City, CA and throughout the world, and continue to create the beautiful line of integrity filled flower essences I use with my clients.
